The CAEP Diagnostic Framework
The CAEP Framework is Montara’s core diagnostic model for identifying where leadership alignment and execution are breaking down. It evaluates four critical operating conditions - Clarity, Alignment, Execution, and Performance Conditions - to help leadership teams understand where friction, misalignment, and weak execution are limiting performance.

Clarity
The CAEP Framework is Montara’s core diagnostic model for identifying where leadership alignment and execution are breaking down. It evaluates four critical operating conditions — Clarity, Alignment, Execution, and Performance Conditions — to help leadership teams understand where friction, misalignment, and weak execution are limiting performance.
Alignment
The CAEP Diagnostic measures whether the leadership team is truly aligned around direction, assumptions, priorities, and commitments. It helps reveal where leaders may appear aligned on the surface but are operating with different interpretations underneath. When alignment is weak, friction increases and the organization begins to pull in different directions.

Execution
The CAEP Diagnostic measures whether the organization is consistently translating priorities and decisions into disciplined action. This includes ownership, accountability, follow through, coordination, and execution rhythm. When execution is weak, progress stalls and strategy loses force across the organization.
Performance
The CAEP Diagnostic measures whether the internal leadership and operating environment is positioned to support stronger organizational performance. This includes the presence of friction, delay, weak coordination, and leadership breakdown that often limit results before they are fully understood.
