Dr. Frank Marshall brings over 35 years of senior leadership experience to Montara, combining deep operational expertise with a passion for developing leaders. He began his career as Controller for Hughes Aircraft Company Maquiladora, a U.S. military defense contractor, before rising to executive roles including Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for multiple firms. As COO of Rancho Santa Fe Technology, Dr. Marshall led a strategic transformation that resulted in a 50% increase in profitability and earned the 2007 Workplace Excellence Award.
In academia, Dr. Marshall has been a respected voice in business education, serving as Associate Dean of the Fermanian School of Business at Point Loma Nazarene University and teaching both graduate and undergraduate management courses. He continues to shape the next generation of leaders as an adjunct professor and active committee chair. At Montara, Dr. Marshall advises founders, operators, and investors on scaling operational excellence and navigating complex leadership challenges.
